Pray for my studies

Please pray that I will be able to study well and do great in my finals.  I want to thank God that my husband and children are very supportive and I pray that He continues to comfort them in their needs especially now that I am always not available for them.

Prayer request

First let us give the Lord thanks for the abundance of all things. Please pray that the Lord would deliver his people from evil men; That the Lord would preserve his people from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually. Pray against the spirit of anti Christ, false witness, terrorism hatred and violence. Please pray and intercede without ceasing that God’s will be done in the lives of the world’s leaders and for President Trump and our leaders to seek God and listen to Him. Pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel and, that our leadership would personally know God and the salvation found through faith in Jesus Christ alone. That we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. God can turn the hearts of kings. Earnestly pray that the people of America and its leaders will humble themselves and seek the Lords face and turn from their wicked ways. Pray that the Lord would hear from heaven and forgive our countries sins and heal our land. God Bless America Pray that the Lord would grant peace in America, that we may lie down and no one will make us afraid. That the Lord would remove wild beasts from the land, and that the sword will not pass through our country Please pray for revival and that the Lord would pour out his spirit on his servants, throughout the world both men and women. Pray for the peace of Israel. Gods will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayers for My Brother

Over the past five years I have come to love the Bishop Lynch community for so many reasons.  Perhaps the thing I love most is our shared faith.  Bishop Lynch is a family rooted in prayer, bonded in love, and dedicated to the common pursuit of recognizing Christ in every human being.  We are a family who comes together to pray for one another.

Three months ago my oldest brother, Richard Hester, jr., was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  My students and colleagues have blessed me with their prayers for our family.  They have been a true source of consolation.

At Christmas my wife, children, and I were able to travel home to New Jersey to see him and say goodbye.  He and I prayed together and we prayed in thanksgiving for the Bishop Lynch family for their prayers for him.  You see, even when you cannot see the object of your prayer, when he is someone unknown to you, in the Communion of the Saints, we believe that our prayer is effective.  He was deeply moved by all of you.  One of my sisters related to me after we left for Texas that Richard asked her "That's the last time I'm going to see Timmy, isn't it?"  How I wish he wasn't right.

Today, his hospice nurse informed us that, in order to honor his wish to die at home, he is being released to the care of my sisters and brothers.  His time on earth is drawing to a close.

I have always been thankful for the incredible family I come from.  Many of you know that of the 16 children born to my parents, three of my siblings are already in heaven.  Richard, who will turn 52 on January 31, will soon join them.  But I have been blessed, too, with this family, this BL family; and I turn to you, my brothers and sisters in faith, to ask your continued prayers.

With faith in God's mercy and resignation to His will I ask all of you who read this to again join in prayer.  Please pray through the intercession of St. Joseph for a happy death for my brother and pray for my family, especially my mom and dad.

All my love in Christ Jesus,
Tim "T$" Hester
