"Faithful to Catholic Tradition and to our Dominican heritage of scholarship and service, Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person by bringing together a diverse community in a rigorous, college preparatory environment where students are taught to strive for excellence, seek truth, and work for justice in the world."(Mission Statement for BL)
Christian service will be required for all students in any quarter of Theology. Per quarter, freshmen must complete 4 hours of Christian service, sophomores 5 hours, and juniors 6 hours. Senior Theology will have additional hour requirements. Service for Theology is above, beyond, and separate from service performed in association with home or school. The theology department has a detailed policy that is distributed with Course Expectations. Each Theology teacher is responsible for approving the service and verifying the completion.
Please see the Course Description Handbook for a list of our current offerings.
