Mandatory Incoming Freshman Parent Meetings (Class of 2021)

Please select one of the three dates to attend a required group meeting to pick up your child's schedule for next year. This meeting is for parents only. If your child is required to attend Summer Enrichment for Math and/or English, try to attend the May 31st meeting because the required Summer Enrichment meeting is directly after at 7:15 pm. This will save you two trips.

Placement Testing and Theater Arts Auditions

Deadlines are coming up soon for placement testing and theater auditions. Your son/daughter needs to take the placement test if:

*Currently enrolled in Algebra I and wants to be considered for a higher level or honors
*Currently enrolled in a foreign language and wants to be considered for a higher level
*Interested in participating in the fall or spring play for the 2017-18 school year

To register for any of these tests, please login to your Ravenna account. Click on the Bishop Lynch High School link and you’ll see “Placement Test” under application steps. Click on the link “Register for an event.” There are no fees association with the placement tests. 

Summer School/Summer Enrichment

Introduction to the staff and review all dates and times for the entire Football season.

Freshman Football Camp
June 12th – 15th
Monday – Thursday
7:00 am - 9:30 am

This camp is the first time the boys will be all together and they will begin to learn what it means to be a Friar football player. We will assess their abilities, teach them the offense and defense

Freshman Strength & Conditioning
Monday - Thursday
7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 

This phase of the program will begin on June 19th and run through July 20th.
No Football Week: June 30th – July 9th 
Dead Week: July 21st- July 31st (11 days) -- NO CONTACT WITH COACHES AND NO KIDS ON CAMPUS PERIOD! Vacation time!

The Bishop Lynch Brigade

We are very excited to invite all freshman to be a part of the BL Brigade either on Varsity or as a Starlette. All incoming freshman are eligible to be Starlettes or earn for a spot on the Varsity team. Starlettes are a part of the Brigade family and practice with Varsity daily, auditioning for routines alongside Varsity members. Starlette positions are first filled by girls who auditioned for Varsity, then accepted based on the team size (if there are spots still available).

Bishop Lynch Volleyball

The Bishop Lynch volleyball team is gearing up for next year.  There are four teams- freshman, sophomore, JV and varsity. During the summer, there are open gyms that are run by the BL coaching staff. There is also a high school camp for rising 9-12 grade athletes. Please see the below important dates-

June 26, 28- 3:30-5:30 pm

Freshman Women's Basketball

Summer Sports Performance Camp (strength & conditioning) is highly encouraged for all incoming women's basketball players. 

There is an introductory meeting for all incoming 8th-grader parents on Wednesday, May 10, 6:30 pm in the BL Bistro (cafeteria).

Freshman Men's Basketball 

If your son is interested in trying out for the Men’s Freshman basketball team, please make sure your son attends the Freshman/Sophomore summer basketball camp June 19-22nd from 4:00-6:00 pm Register here >>>

Athletic Summer Camps

Student Athlete Physicals

Student-athletes are required to have a current physical (within 365 days) before they can participate in athletics. They will also need ImPACT baseline testing and online forms. Welcome to families and students of the class of 2021! I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know you in the upcoming school year.  Parents, if your incoming freshman will be visiting the doctor this summer for their annual check-up, please take a moment to print and complete the following forms, and take them with you for physician signatures if you anticipate that your child will be taking any over-the-counter or prescription medications during the school year.  Note that only the prescription medication form requires a physician signature.

Parents of Students with Learning Differences

Please send your documentation to Jan Hublein during the summer (scan is preferable but hard copies will work too). Documentation guidelines are on the website under Academics/Guidance/Learning Center. BL Cheerleading Information

The Bishop Lynch High School Cheer program is pleased to announce the dates of tryouts and summer camps for the 2017-18 cheerleader hopefuls.

A cheer candidate meeting will be held on April 25 in the BL Bistro. Students are encouraged to bring their parents to receive information on the tryout process. The meeting will begin at 6 pm.

Cheer candidates are required to attend the mandatory tryout clinic, held in the Competition Gym from 5-7 pm on May 8-10. Tryouts for the 2017-18 squads will take place May 11 in the Competition Gym, beginning at 5 pm.

Mandatory summer dates for the new squads are July 14-16 (overnight cheer camp), July 10, 12, 19-20 from 5-7 pm (summer practices) and Aug. 7-9 from 9 am. to noon (choreography clinic).

From The Lynch Locker

It was wonderful to meet so many from the Class of 2021 at Freshman Rally! If you did not have a chance to stop by The Lynch Locker, come see us! We have Class of 2021 hats and t-shirts! The t-shirts are $18, the hats are $20, or you can buy a bundle (a hat and a t-shirt) for $35 (save $3!).

We are also selling Under Armour backpacks at a discounted cost. These bags cost about $55 at Academy. You can get them from The Lynch Locker for $45! Order by May 1st and pick your back up from us in August. All the information and color choices are available here:

How to calculate your monthly tuition payment:

Tuition $16,100.00
+Tech Fee $350.00
+Senior Fee $300.00 (applies to seniors only)
-Tuition Deposit $500.00 (applies to freshman/transfers only)
-Financial aid if applicable
-Scholarship if applicable
=Balance for 2017/2018
Divide Balance by 11 and you will have your monthly tuition payment-June 15, 2017-April 16, 2018

2017/2018 school year funding options:

Method 1 - Monthly ACH Debit
ACH debit from checking or savings - Deadline 4/12/17.  Please forward your form to if you have not already done so.
11 monthly payments 6/15/17 thru 4/16/18.  The annual enrollment fee of $100 will be debited (separately) with the first month’s tuition payment on 6/15/17.  The technology fee and/or the senior fee will be rolled together with the tuition if they are not paid by May 31, 2017.  If you are currently enrolled in the ACH program, you will be automatically enrolled for the 2017/2018 year.  If you choose not to fund via this option for the next school year, it is the financial responsible party’s obligation to contact the Department of Tuition to cancel this option. >>> Download ACH Form HERE.

Method 2 – Pay in Full Check, Cash** or Money Order 
Check/Cash**/Money Order - Deadline 5/31/17.  Cash must be exact change.
**Bishop Lynch High School must submit Form 8300 to the IRS for receipt of any cash or money order for tuition payment of/or equaling $10,000 or more.  Please be prepared to submit Social Security Number and a form of I.D. for reporting purposes.  Further information can be found here.

Method 3 - Your Tuition Solution
